About the creator

The Institute of Mechanical Intelligence was established in May 2021 through the merger of the research groups from the Perceptual Robotics Laboratory (PERCRO) and the Advanced Sensors group of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. Its primary goal is the design and development of hardware and software components of artificial systems, as well as the study of their future interaction with humans.
