Weddings at the museum

Vinci offers couples who choose to marry with a civil ceremony the opportunity to do so in locations linked to the life and memory of its most famous figure. Whether it’s an intimate ceremony inside the museum, beneath the impressive wing structure inspired by Leonardo’s designs, or an outdoor event at the Birthplace in Anchiano—where Leonardo was born and spent part of his childhood—your wedding will be truly unique.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Civil weddings can be held at the following locations:

• Leonardo Museum, Castello dei Conti Guidi, Via della Torre
  Model Room (the hall immediately after the entrance). From Monday to Sunday, during museum opening hours.

• Piazza Guido Masi
  (panoramic terrace, external functional area of the Leonardo Museum, near the Vitruvian Man)
  From Monday to Sunday. Set-up for the civil ceremony must be provided by the applicants and is subject to the municipal event calendar.

• Terrace at Palazzina Uzielli / Modern Art Sculpture Area
  (external functional area of Palazzina Uzielli)
  From Monday to Sunday. Set-up for the civil ceremony must be provided by the applicants and is subject to the municipal event calendar.

• Leonardo’s Birthplace in Anchiano
  Two rooms available: the “Fireplace Room” or the room adjacent to the ticket office, from Monday to Sunday, during museum opening hours.

• Courtyard of Anchiano
  (external functional area of Leonardo’s Birthplace in Anchiano)
  From Monday to Sunday, during museum opening hours. On Saturdays and Sundays, set-up for the civil ceremony must be provided by the applicants.
