About the creator
Alexander Neuwahl (Ulm, 10 November 1970) is a professional in the fields of design and communication. Since 1996, he has collaborated with the Leonardo Museum in Vinci on the creation of scientific and historical educational materials. In 2002, he began contributing to the design of the museum’s new exhibition layouts and the development of multimedia pathways, leading and coordinating creative teams in support of the major innovation process undertaken by the institution—an ongoing transformation still in progress.
He has designed and contributed to the creation of exhibitions and exhibition sections on Leonardo da Vinci at both national and international levels, including: Il Codice Atlantico di Leonardo da Vinci nell’edizione Hoepli 1894–1904 (Rome, 2005); Leonardo da Vinci, Heinrich Schickhardt. und die Technik ihrer Zeit (Stuttgart, 2008); Les Rêves Mécaniques de Léonard de Vinci (Rombas, 2008); Léonard de Vinci et la France (Amboise, 2009); Leonardo Artefice. Dal disegno alle macchine (Verona, 2010); Léonard de Vinci, “Romorantin, le projet oublié” (Romorantin, 2010).
He has also been, and continues to be, an active promoter of the use of 3D reconstruction techniques as tools for historical and scientific research, participating in numerous international conferences.
